Chugga chugga chugga choo choo! Ahem, apologies, we couldn't resist. That was supposed to be the sound of Tren pulling into the station. Media Molecule's latest and largest Dreams creation has arrived, and you can find out all about it here.
Tren takes everything wonderful about the world of toy train sets and childhood imagination, mixes it with a pinch of nostalgia, and brings it to life in a beautifully crafted, wholesome experience. All aboard!

What is Tren?#
Tren is an adorable new action puzzle game unlike anything else you've seen. Taking control of Tren, you'll navigate your way across 89 tracks (and 6 special tracks), exploring ever-changing and delightfully detailed world maps as you go.
But Tren is more than just a game about trains and solving puzzles. As the brainchild of Media Molecule Creative Director John Beech, Tren is a love letter to nostalgia, childhood, and growing up. Tren was orginally inspired by the connection between John and his own daughter, who plays with toy train sets just like John did with his own dad when he was a wee lad.

Of course, if you did come here looking for action-based train-flipping fun and games (and hey, no judgement here), then you'll find yourself fully catered for. Tren features jumps, stunts and tricks that will test your Trengineering abilities to the max. Tren is as much a skill-based game as it is a test of your puzzle-solving prowess, so get your reflexes at the ready.
In much the same way that Dreams is a testament to creativity and imagination, Tren is an ode to the joy of play and connection. We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed crafting it (which if you couldn't tell already, is a lot).
