Tools

Tools for giving your sculptures and paintings a final touch. Results can be combined with style and effects, so experiment.

With each tool, you can carefully adjust one item at a time using the imp tip, or you can use the volume brush to capture a lot of stuff at once.

You can turn it on using the button in the context menu, or use the shortcut - after selecting a tool, press and a wireframe shape will appear on your imp tip.

Press to make the volume brush bigger and to make it smaller. Now when you use that tool, anything inside the volume brush will be affected.

It's great for making expressive changes to large scenes. For, say, a forest full of trees which are all the same color, the volume brush can sweep tint over it for variation.

Revert

When you're finessing a piece of art, undo can be a bit of a blunt instrument. You may not want to completely undo what you've done, but just dial it back a bit.

Revert lets you do that. Select it, hover over the thing you went a bit OTT on, and press (or press and hold) till you're happy.
