Stuck playing the demo version, unable to access the full game?
If you’re having trouble accessing the full game and you’re only able to play the demo version, this could be due to the game licenses stored on your online account.
In order to access the full game, you’ll need to restore the game licenses on your console. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Go to Account Management
- Go to Restore Licenses
Hopefully this will fix the issue for you. If not, please raise a ticket. Include information about when you originally purchased the game, and whether it was bought as a physical copy or digitally on the PlayStation Store, so that we can try and track down the problem.
You can submit a ticket here.
Stuck in offline mode?
Having trouble accessing Dreams online? If your internet is working and your account has not been sanctioned, the most common reason this happens is that you are using an account which has been set up as a child account.
Dreams is officially a 12-rated game, so if you have a child account it won't allow you to access user-generated online content. To find out if this is the case, try signing into the game using a standard adult account.

I upgraded to a PlayStation®5 and I want to use my motion controllers, how do I do that?
You'll need a PlayStation Camera adaptor, which is used to connect your PlayStation®4 camera to your new console. Dreams players can apply for an adaptor via PlayStation Support. Please reach out on your local channels and raise a customer support ticket, and the PlayStation team will take it from there.
You can find more information here(opens in new tab).
Can’t access your playlists on indreams.me?
There are multiple playlists that appear both in Dreams and on indreams.me. As they are tied to your PlayStation Network account, if you are having trouble accessing them, it may be because you are not logged into the site. Try pressing the sign in button on the top right hand corner of the site, and sign in with your PlayStation Network account. If you successfully log in, and the issue persists, please let us know here.
Do I need a VR headset to play VR enabled dreams?
Yes, specifically, you’ll need a PlayStation VR headset in order to play dreams that require VR. Anything that has the VR headset logo is a VR-enabled Dream. However, a PlayStation VR is not required to play Dreams, or for the majority of creations within Dreams.
How do I find new Dreams to play?
You can search for new dreams to play within the Dreamiverse. Simply go to DreamSurfing, and either explore the ready-made playlists, or search for a variety of keywords to find Dreams related to your interests. You can also explore games by logging into indreams.me, and adding them to your Play Later queue. Then they’ll be available in-game for you to play when you’re ready.
