All aboard for nostalgic train adventure Tren, out now in Dreams!

Next stop: fun! Our delightfully nostalgic - and deviously challenging - train adventure game, Tren, is available to play in Dreams right… now!

The Tren launch trailer.

Hand-assembled by a team of Trengineers here at Media Molecule, Tren is an adventure game that puts you in the driving seat of an adorable model engine.

Deliver cargo! Solve puzzles! Do big flips! Rack up high scores and become the envy of all your friends! And join Tren on a grand tour of your fondest childhood memories, as you discover a story all about the transformative power of play.

If you own a copy of Dreams, you can play Tren today. Simply boot up your PlayStation, and head into Dreams. You’ll find Tren on the front page of DreamSurfing! (If you’re a bit busy right now with work, or something else equally unimportant but unavoidable, why not add Tren to your Play Later queue with this snazzy button?)

For tips and tricks on how to play Tren, you can check out our Tren hub! And for that, plus loads of other nonsense, have a look at the official Tren game manual we "found" buried in an attic. It's not theft if you're preserving a piece of history!

And you get to keep it FOREVER.

Yes, Dreams is now on PS Plus! And it'll also become part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for Extra and Premium members from August 15th. You’ve now officially got no excuse not to grab your copy.

Especially as we’ve also been hard at work curating the very best recommendations for platformer games, horror games, action-adventure games and much more in Dreams. Never played Dreams before? Looking for the best games to play after Tren? These articles are a great place to start, if we do say so ourselves. (We do.)

A mere three of the many articles we've written, offering genre-based recommendations for amazing Dreams games to play.

We’ll also be catching up with the rest of the Tren team live on stream today at 5PM BST over on our Twitch channel(opens in new tab) - while streaming our very own playthrough of the game.

Oh, and if you’re a big Dreams nerd and liked Dreams before it was part of the PS Plus cool-kid club (hello, CoMmunity! Love you!), you might be interested in the release notes for this update - which in addition to Tren, includes a few tweaks and fixes. As well as something very exciting called Snap Points. (The nerds are going wild right now, trust us.)

The Dreams User Guide is a work-in-progress. Keep an eye out for updates as we add more learning resources and articles over time.
