Shapes
Pick a shape to use with a tool. You can make it add or subtract using the add/subtract menu button, or by pressing while holding it. The effects differ depending on the tool.
You can scale it using and , or use to move it around. For more you can do with shapes, press + while holding one to open the shape editor.

To change your grip on a shape, hold a shape on , hover over it with , and press + on to reveal the grip points. Pick a grip point and press to select it with
Scale a shape by holding on while twisting as if twisting a dial. For more options, press on + on while holding a shape to open the shape editor.
Cube
Use + while holding the cube to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.

Cylinder
Use + while holding the cylinder to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.
Use on + on while holding the cylinder to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.
Sphere
Use + while holding the sphere to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.

Cone
Use + while holding the cone to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.

Donut
Use + while holding the donut to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.

Filled Donut
Use + while holding the filled donut to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.

Wedge

Hexagon

Pyramid
This is a bit of a special shape, because you can manipulate the corners. Use + while holding the pyramid to open the shape editor.
You'll notice 4 double-headed arrow gizmos on its corners. Grab and drag them with to pull the corners and shape it into any sort of tetrahedron you fancy.

Rounded Cube
Use + while holding the rounded cube to open the shape editor and see what you can do with it.

Curve
This shape is even more special than the pyramid. To use it to make perfect curves, you need to select it and enter the shape editor with +.
But if you use curve outside of the shape editor, it's a bit like piping icing letters on a cake. The thickness of your "icing" depends on how hard you press .
Press while moving your imp, varying the pressure as you move, and you'll get something that looks very much like it was squeezed out of a bag through a nozzle.
You can also use to move, which you may find easier than moving the controller. Give it a try.
This shape is even more special than the pyramid. And as you're using motion controllers, there are 3 different ways you can use it.
Firstly, if you simply "draw" with while pressing on , it's a bit like piping icing letters on a cake. The thickness of your "icing" depends on how hard you press .

Secondly, if you enter the shape editor with on + on , you can quickly make some perfect curves. More on how to do that in the shape editor.
Thirdly, for expressive curves, tap the spheres of and together. A curve appears between them. Move them around to get the sort of curve you want.
Pull and apart to make the curve bigger. Move them together to make it smaller. Hold on , or on , and twist to taper either end of the curve.
Depending on the current tool, either hold on to smear, or press it to stamp. Keep moving and to get a changing shape as you work, or press on to set shape.
