Pumpkin Template Guidelines
General Guidelines#
- The Pumpkin template must remain at no more than 1% for graphics and 1% for gameplay on the thermometer. To check your thermometer, open up the assembly menu with , select Show/Hide and from there, Thermometer .
- You may resize the pumpkin template, so long as no sculpts extrude the Ruler. Use the Ruler in the scene to make sure you are within the boundaries. If it’s hidden, open up the assembly menu with , select Tools Hide , then Unhide All from the context menu. You’re free to delete this once the pumpkin is fully designed (i.e. right before submitting).
- You may design out from the pumpkin template’s surface, but use the Ruler as a guide to gauge that your sculpting is within the boundaries set by the Ruler.
- You may not edit or resize the Ruler.
- You may not submit anything copyrighted or that infringes upon somebody else’s IP (opens in new tab)Create something original! Your creation must also adhere to our CoMmunity Guidelines.
- Audio is not permitted.
Carving Your Pumpkin#
New to sculpting/carving in Dreams? Check out the tutorial in-game, or read step-by-step instructions here!
- To sculpt onto the pumpkin, hover over the pumpkin and Scope In with + three times, which will take you into Sculpt Mode . From there, you can get started on sculpting!
- Any additional sculpts on the pumpkin must remain under 1% graphics and one percent 1% gameplay on the thermometer.
- You may use Flecks and Finishes.
- You may not increase the detail of the pumpkin above 1% graphics on the thermometer.
- To carve the pumpkin, first select a Shape from the Shapes menu , then select Add/Subtract , to switch to Subtract . By default you will be using the Smear Shape tool, but you may find it easier to switch to Stamp Shape . Try both! Hover over the pumpkin and press to start carving.
- You may tweak the properties of the pumpkin. Scope In and use + to tweak it. You can adjust most of the tweaks on the first page, Outer Properties, and the second page, Inner Properties. But please note:
- Glow is already provided for you in the microchip. Glow affects a sculpt beside the pumpkin itself and shouldn’t be added to the pumpkin via the tweak menu, only by activating the Switch in the microchip.
- You may not adjust the Emit Light From Glow settings as this will result in your pumpkin affecting other pumpkins.
- You may not use any other tweaks on any other pages.
- You may use Style and Spraypaint, as well as Paint, but please do not use Looseness.
- These rules apply to any additional properties and sculpture that you include on your pumpkin.
Microchip#
- You may tweak the value sliders in the microchip and activate any switches. You may also delete them if you’d like to do something different and need help remaining under the one percent (1%) gameplay thermo.
- You may use the imp node at the top-centre of the microchip to manipulate the colour of the glow within the pumpkin. Hover over it, press +, and manipulate the colour wheel at the top to find a colour you like.
